BTS member Jin's volunteer work and good deeds

Hi! I'm a K-pop fan living in Korea. Jin from BTS has been doing a lot of good deeds and volunteer work. Today, I'm going to tell you about the good deeds he's done. There are so many that I'm only going to post a few.

First, there was a large forest fire in Korea and there were many displaced people. A temporary shelter was built for them and there was news that BTS' Jin volunteered to provide free meals there.

He's a superstar on stage, and off stage he's a quiet, hard worker for the needy. He hides his identity with a mask, hat, and gray apron while doing volunteer work because he doesn't want his good deeds to be known. (For your information, in Korea, making your good deeds known is considered an act of bragging. That's why there are many anonymous donors when donating to charities.) Anyway, BTS's Jin and other volunteers handed out food with a kind and warm attitude, and people were touched.

Here's an article about him donating animal feed to a volunteer group called Animal Freedom Union. This is a photo posted on the Animal Freedom Union's SNS account. The article says that BTS Jin personally purchased and sent animal feed for the animals and that the donated items are being used with care for the animals.

Here's the news that BTS' Jin has joined UNICEF's Honors Club, a group of high-value donors. The Honors Club is a group of donors who have donated more than 100 million won to help children around the world. Jin has been donating a certain amount every month since 2018 and joined the Honors Club in May 2019. Originally, he had not announced his donation, but he made it public after thinking that others might donate after seeing his good deeds.

In addition, he appeared on a TV show with a representative Japanese idol to volunteer at an animal shelter and donated $70,000 to a hospital in Korea.

BTS Jin used to volunteer with his father when he was young, delivering briquettes to low-income families, and he was very proud of that work. I think those experiences influenced him and he still does a lot of volunteer work now. I have never done much volunteer work or donated, but seeing Jin made me think that I should also spend a certain amount of my income to help the poor. Let's all join in on the good work.
