Day6 members talk about Wonpil's personality

Hi! I'm a K-pop fan living in Korea. Today I'm going to talk about Wonpil,

a member of the K-pop boy band Day6.He also plans to release letters he sent to

members while he was in the military.

Day6 went on a trip to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary, and there was a scene where they were joking around and teasing each other about their weaknesses. I'll tell you what the members said about Wonpil's personality while he was in the military.

📌The members of Day6 live in the same house (except for Dowoon) and are so close that talking about each other's shortcomings is just a joke, so please don't take it too seriously.

Dowoon: Wonpil He's seriously pig-headed.

Sungjin: That word doesn't fully explain him. He seriously gets his own way. Dowoon: Wonpil should've been here

Sungjin: Dowoon also gets his own way, but...

Dowoon: No, I'm not that stubborn

Young K: You also get your own way, Sungjin...

Sungjin: That's right

Young K: And I get my own way, too

Sungjin: But he listens to what we say like he's going to accept it But eventually, he says "But I'm going to do this"

Young K: (What you're saying is this) "I'm not that kind of person"

Sungjin: He doesn't mention any of that and makes others use their time and energy on him

Dowoon:And he never cleans up Sungjin:(That's right)

Dowoon:I don't get how he finds what to wear when I go to his room

Sungjin: And he doesn't really dress nicely But it seemed he was doing a good job these days

Dowoon:I said this before He keeps smelling people Wonpil

Young K: this is very accurate

Dowoon:When I'm out of the shower, he comes to me saying "Our little dog" (Sniffing) and keeps smelling me

I speak through the nose a lot, right? (Cute older member) I learned that from Wonpil I heard him speak like that so many times so it just grew on me

Young K:Then why do you keep saying "honey"? I don't think you learned that from Wonpil "Honey" and "baby" and such Where did you learn that? You suddenly started to call us that

Dowoon:There's this friend I go fishing with We've been fishing together for a long time so we're like an old couple

So we say things like "Honey, why aren't you listening to me?" We make jokes like that  

Sungjin: Congratulations

Dowoon:Thank you

📌In Korea, when guys are really close to each other, they call each other honey. But don't misunderstand, that doesn't mean they're gay.

Here is the letter Wonpil wrote to the members

Sungjin:We didn't say nice things about Wonpil to finish up, is that okay? (Let's read the letters first)

"You must've had lots of concerns secretly as the leader"

"These days, I keep remembering the day we went on a drive together" 

"I really loved that Let's go on a drive again"

"I want to get discharged quickly and work with you"

"And make jokes, too" "Don't get sick I hope you stay healthy"

"Have fun But I want to be there, too"

"I can't believe I'm writing a letter"

"I want to be with you guys, too, but as you know, I'm too far away"

"So I can't be with you guys"

"I think about this all the time I'm so thankful you're with me"

"I want to get discharged soon and work with everyone and have fun"

"I hope you have a pleasant time doing things you like"

"But I want to be there, too"

"You must be busy after getting discharged I hope you're healthy and have fun working"

"Your music about to be released is great, so don't feel pressured to promote them"

"When I'm at sea, talking to you over the phone and saying funny things comforts me, Younghyun"

"I'll watch your videos at sea"

"You guys must've had fun today"  

"I want to be there, too"
